AdventNet Announces Support for sFlow® in its NetFlow Analyzer

PLEASANTON, Calif., Aug. 14 /- AdventNet Inc., the leading provider of enterprise IT management software today announced the immediate availability of support for sFlow(R) in NetFlow Analyzer 6.0. This extends the management capabilities of the product to include devices from Alcatel-Lucent, Extreme Networks, Foundry Networks, HP, Hitachi, NEC and more.
sFlow(R) is an industry standard technology for monitoring high speed switched networks. It gives complete visibility into the use of networks enabling performance optimization, accounting/billing for usage, and defense against security threats. By providing unprecedented visibility into network usage and active routes of even today's high-speed and complex networks, sFlow provides the data required to effectively control and manage network usage, ensuring that network services provide a competitive advantage.
