Advantech is glad to announce its presence at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2013 from 29th until 31st January 2013, hall 10 stand R144. ISE is one of the leading industrial system integration trade shows in Europe. The event hosted more than 800 professional exhibitors in areas of digital signage solutions, image processing and audiovisual equipment. There are also a series of business meetings, conferences and workshops aim at addressing the latest happenings in the system integration sector. The highlight solutions at Advantech's stand are the latest 3rd generation Intel® Core(TM) i based signage platforms ARK-DS262 and ARK-DS762. The technology delivers up to 15% more CPU performance, up to 60% more 3D graphics performance, and up to 1.8x transcode speed via Quick Sync Video.
ARK-DS262 OPS-Compliant Design
The very compact (200 x 119 x 30 mm) ARK-DS262 signage solution is an Intel®OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) digital signage platform that helps standardize the design and development of media player and display. Development, installation, management, maintenance and upgrade are all easy. The ARK-DS262 is powered by a 3rd generation Intel® Core(TM) i7/i3 with built-in graphics, which enables it to generate compelling video and 3D animation. ARK-DS262 also supports 1x GigaLAN, 1x COM ports, and 2x USB3.0, giving a great selection of data communications for display applications. The entire design makes digital signage applications more intelligent and connected.
ARK-DS762 Supports 3 Independent Displays
Designed for advanced digital signage projects, the ARK-DS762 combines high processing and graphics performance (Intel® 3rd Gen Core i up to 45 watts TDP) with rich I/O (including USB 3.0) and extra flexibility via optional expansion modules. The ARK-DS762 can support 3 x HDMI independent displays, and supports Microsoft® Kinect(TM) technology that for example allows a screen to become a virtual interactive mirror that can be controlled with gestures or spoken commands. It's ideal for multi-display applications in retail stores, stadiums, corporate lobbies, restaurants, hotels and other public spaces.
Value Added Software
All Advantech signage boxes can be delivered pre-loaded with an embedded OS, along with SUSIAccess remote device management software, Acronis data protection software, and network security software by McAfee. By using ready-to-go, signage solutions, System Integrators can focus more on their own applications and save important development time and resources.
