Bud Announces Maximum Protection Seismic Racks
CLEVELAND - February 16, 2005 - Bud Industries Inc., the nation's leading manufacturer of cabinets, racks, and enclosures, has announced the immediate availability of Seismic Racks. The welded, reinforced heavy-gauge steel racks offer the maximum level of seismic protection for equipment. Seismic Racks are tested and certified to Telcordia's (formerly Bellcore) Zone 4 requirements for 1200# equipment load.
Seismic Racks feature an open frame with four fully adjustable 19-in panel width mounting rails per EIA-310 requirements and four 4-in diameter cable access holes in the top of the rack and one 9.5-in square cable access hole in the bottom. Available panel space is 19 x 78.75 inches and overall size of the Seismic Racks is 84.06 in. high x 26.06-in. wide by 32.75-in. deep. Standard finish is black texture.
Seismic Rack frames can also be incorporated into complete cabinet rack assemblies. Optional solid side panels, solid steel doors, Plexiglass paneled doors, and certified seismic anchor kits are also available. These assemblies can consist of any combination of the frame with any or all optional accessories.
