Larson Electronics Releases Adjustable Equipment Mounting Pole with Surface Mount Bracket

Kemp, TX

Larson Electronics, a leading supplier of industrial grade lighting and related accessories, has announced today the addition of the TPM-12 Telescoping Light Pole to its extensive line of industrial grade lighting equipment. The TPM-12 adjustable light pole is designed for permanent attachment to walls, supports and flat surfaces, and provides a highly convenient method of mounting lighting, speakers, and similar devices, and elevating them up to 12 feet in height.

The Larson Electronics TPM-12 telescoping light pole is designed to provide operators with a convenient and stable way to elevate lights, speakers and other electrical devices and elevate them up to 12 feet above the mounting position. This high strength mounting pole includes a heavy gauge predrilled mounting plate that allows users to easily and securely mount the pole to any suitable flat surface. Operators can attach the mounting plate to walls, boat cabins or cockpits, trailer frames and similar structures, and simply drop the adjustable telescoping pole into place or remove it as desired. A T-handle locking bolt secures the pole into the mounting plate and allows operators to simply loosen the bolt and remove the pole if desired. Once installed, the pole can be extended from its collapsed height of 3 feet to 12 feet above the mounting base position, allowing operators to utilize the mast as a portable light tower if desired. A predrilled aluminum mounting plate is located on the end of the pole and allows operators to attach any of Larson Electronics’ line of high performance lights as well as a wide variety of other devices and equipment.  This adjustable pole also features a built in braking system which prevents the pole from uncontrolled or sudden collapse if the locks are released and provides a slow and controlled descent, helping to protect persons and any sensitive electronic devices which may be attached. This pole is ideal for boaters who wish to elevate marine lighting to reduce glare and casting, yet need to stow the assembly quickly before getting underway. It is also well suited to applications where operations are conducted out of a mobile office or trailer and quickly deployed lighting or public address systems are frequently needed.

“More often than not, customers are looking for ways to temporarily elevate their lighting for task oriented applications,” said Rob Bresnahan with LarsonElectronics.com.  “By providing a base that can be mounted to a vertical surface, operators can drop the light pole into the base, elevate the light and conduct their work.  Once the task is complete, they can collapse the light pole, remove it from the light base, and store it safely.  The TPM-12 adjustable light pole is designed with a pneumatic brake, so the light at the top doesn’t come crashing down when they release the locks, keeping the operator and the lights safe.”
