Steel City® O-Justable Bracket Mounts Steel Boxes for Variety of Applications
New Product from Thomas & Betts Mounts at Any Required Height
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Steel City® O-Justable Bracket, new from Thomas & Betts (T&B), offers the versatility to mount steel boxes in a variety of applications and jobsite conditions. The bracket is compatible with any stud spacing from 12-25 inches, and can be mounted at any required height. The Steel City® O-Justable Bracket accommodates four square, 4 11/16-inch and Steel City® 5-Square boxes. Multiple boxes may be installed on a single bracket to ensure that all boxes are uniformly aligned.
“The flexibility of the Steel City® O-Justable Bracket enables the installer to adjust the width of the bracket to match the various stud spacings encountered on the job site,” said Chad Smith, vice president, product management and engineering, at T&B. ”It also allows boxes to be installed at any location within the bracket window. The ability to make width and box location adjustments on the jobsite makes this bracket ideal for prefabricated, rough-in assemblies.”
The O-Justable bracket is part of eFab™ by Thomas & Betts, a contractor service for the specification and procurement of custom prefabricated rough-in assemblies. Complete assemblies of boxes, mud rings, brackets and other components are delivered directly to the jobsite, saving time in order processing, shipping and installation.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has approved the Steel City® O-Justable Bracket.
