Adjustable Monitor Arm Adds Movement, Comfort to Flat Panel Monitors
St. Paul, MN - Feb. 25, 2004 - Ergotron introduces the Neo-Flex(TM) Arm, a value-priced adjustable arm for flat panel monitors. This sleek, streamlined Arm provides 8" of vertical movement so you can position your monitor exactly where you want it. It's ideal for office and home settings, especially for situations where multiple people use the same monitor. Because it clamps to the back of the desk, it also frees up desk space.
Ergonomic experts recommend that the height of the monitor be positioned so that the top of the screen is at, or slightly below, user eye level. This reduces fatigue and possible Muskuloskeletal Disorders (MSDs) to the neck and shoulder. The Neo-Flex Arm addresses this issue by allowing you to set the height of your monitor. Simply push the side button with one hand, position the monitor where you want it with the other hand, and then release the button. The Arm also accommodates portrait/landscape viewing. Patent-pending technology brings a wide range of motion to your monitor, including: 8" arm height adjustment, 180° right/left monitor tilt, up to 180° up/down monitor tilt, 360° monitor portrait/landscape rotation, and 360° arm side-to-side rotation.
The Neo-Flex Arm attaches easily to flat panel monitors that are VESA-compliant (refers to the four-hole pattern on the back of the monitor) and weigh 18 lbs. or less. Product ships fully assembled and is easily desk clamped to the back of the worksurface. Remove the existing base of your monitor, match up the hole pattern and attach the monitor to the Arm with the four provided screws. Integrated cable clip routes cables neatly. Safety-stop feature prevents monitor contact with worksurface (applies to monitors less than 15.5" in height).
