Nora Lighting's New 5" Adjustable LED Downlight Creates Wall Washing, Other Visual Effects
COMMERCE, CAÂ Â Â Â A new 5-inch aperture adjustable LED downlight is now available from Nora Lighting. The latest addition to Nora’s Diamond II Retrofit Series of LED recessed fixtures, the 5-inch model is cULus listed for use in existing IC or non-IC housing from Nora and others.
The luminaire features a 10.55W LED module producing 650 lumens with 90+ CRI for more realistic color rendition. An adjustable gimbal rotates 356° and adjusts from 0 to 40°.
Designed for commercial and residential applications, the 5” downlight is suitable for wall washing effects, along with accent lighting and sloped ceiling applications.
Models are available in three trims: as surface adjustable; regressed baffle (with ring); and regressed reflector (with ring). The wide range of specifiable finishes includes specular black, black, bronze, chrome, clear, copper, natural metal and white. Color coordinated combinations can also be specified, such as a specular black reflector with white oversized ring.
The 2-inch diameter module lens offers optimal light distribution and Nora’s Unitized Thermal Management system (UTM) provides exceptionally cool operation.
Nora Diamond Series retrofit units work with leading edge electronic dimmers (5 to 100%) and trailing edge incandescent dimmers (10 to 100%). It is cULus listed for damp location and Energy Star rated for more than 50,000 hours of performance.
