Electrically Conductive Adhesive Transfer Film for Electronic Gasketing Applications

Windsor, Connecticut - December 6, 2002.... Scapa North America offers Unifilm® U477-PAT, an electrically conductive adhesive transfer film used in the fabrication of gaskets for wireless communications equipment such as cell phones, pagers, and PDAs.

Unifilm U477-PAT exhibits high shear strength, high tack, and good chemical resistance. The transfer film adheres well to a variety of surfaces including metals, painted surfaces, and many plastic films.

Unifilm U477-PAT features a modified acrylic adhesive that delivers better adhesion and conductivity, resulting in a cleaner application than carbon containing products. The transfer film is pattern coated onto its protective release liner, creating a dry edge for easier handling and improved processing.
