Scapa Automotive offers a high performance, unsupported, acrylic adhesive transfer film, Ultra(TM) 613A, for NVH, component assembly, and carpet attachment applications. A unique, easy-release, thermoformable plastic liner makes this product ideal for use on contoured automotive components, such as interior carpet trim.
Offering excellent peel, tack and quick stick, Ultra 613A adheres to a wide variety of surfaces including urethane foams, metals and engineered plastics. The product has a 3-mil adhesive coat weight, develops high initial "wet out", and provides superior anchorage to ether and esther foams, even under demanding conditions. Formulated to resist chemicals, plasticizers and high temperatures, Ultra 613A offers good long-term aging and the ability to withstand environmental extremes.
