Scapa Offers Medical Adhesive Tape for Diagnostic Device Assembly
Windsor, Connecticut - October 16, 2002.... Scapa Medical offers Bioflex® Rx744S, a double-coated, pressure sensitive adhesive film used to adhere reagent-containing membranes to polystyrene in medical diagnostic devices.
Bioflex® Rx744S consists of a polyester film double-coated with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that has been approved for indirect food contact (21CFR175.105). The film is supplied on a 60# kraft paper release liner. Rx774S is used on blood glucose, blood coagulation, cholesterol, pregnancy, and ovulation testing devices.
