Medical Grade Adhesive Tape for Direct Skin Applications



Windsor, Connecticut - February 7, 2006.... Scapa Medical has introduced Bioflex Rx1207P, a tan polyester tricot fabric, single coated with a medical grade acrylic adhesive. This product is ideal for roll form bandages, specialized medical components and other medical skin applications. The tricot fabric is breathable and has excellent resistance to dirt and moisture. The product works well in applications involving long-term wear.

The adhesive used in Rx1207P provides excellent adhesion to the skin, yet removes cleanly without causing skin trauma. The product offers excellent conformability and is easily die cut. The acrylic adhesive used in Rx1207P has passed cytotoxicity and skin sensitization testing.
