Costa Mesa, CA, November 6, 2002-- Sealflex today announced its EZ Strip Adhesive Remover, which utilizes advanced technology to safely, easily and quickly remove flooring adhesives, leaving subfloors ready for new adhesive.
EZ Strip removes 99% of one-part polyurethane, latex, acrylic and ESD conductive acrylic adhesives from concrete and other substrates significantly faster than other methods, reducing subfloor preparation costs by up to 75%. EZ Strip requires minimal scrapping and no rinsing. It leaves no chemical residue and does not resurface or re-emulsify, ensuring a tight, long-lasting bond between new adhesive and substrate.
Water-based, non-toxic and ecologically safe, EZ Strip comes pre-mixed and releases minimal fumes and odors. It has been tested and used by commercial North American flooring contractors with excellent results. A major international adhesive manufacturer has also confirmed that Sealflex EZ Strip is compatible with its flooring adhesives.
After brushing, rolling or spraying EZ Strip onto existing adhesive and waiting 5 to 15 minutes, the adhesive is then quickly removed with light scrapping and no rinsing. Any trace of EZ Strip remaining on the surface quickly evaporates, after which new adhesive can be immediately applied. Available in four-gallon (15 liter) containers, EZ Strip coverage is approximately 250 square feet per gallon (six square meters per liter).
