Optically Clear UV Polycarbonate Adhesive for Mounting and Laminating Signs and Graphics
Windsor, Connecticut - September 12, 2005.... Scapa North America has introduced an optically clear, UV resistant, Lexan® polycarbonate pressure sensitive adhesive material for laminating and mounting trade show graphics, exhibit walls, flexible displays, and images. The matte finish polycarbonate has UL recognition # IMET.SA12588 for flooring applications.
Coated on one side with an ultraviolet acrylic adhesive, Scapa P999 is available in 5, 10, and 15 mil polycarbonate thicknesses for increased dimensional stability. Available roll widths range from 38 to 60 inches. The product's acrylic adhesive provides an excellent balance of peel, tack and shear strength, and bonds well to many substrates. The material is supplied with a polyester release liner that adds optical clarity.
