Loctite Introduces Medical Grade Light Cure Adhesive With Superior Sterilization Resistance
Rocky Hill, Conn. - April 30, 2002. Loctite Corporation has introduced new Loctite® 3345, a high performance ultra-violet (UV) cure medical grade adhesive designed for metal to glass bonding. Offering superior sterilization resistance, this product is ideal for a wide variety of medical device assembly applications including needle assemblies, syringes, oxygenators, filters, and reusable medical devices where limited repeat steam sterilization is required.
New Loctite 3345 is a single-component UV cure acrylic adhesive that complies with ISO-10993 biocompatibility requirements. The medium viscosity product offers superior performance following temperature aging. Loctite 3345 is available in a 25 ml syringe package.
