Adhesive is removed with acetone or ketone solvents.

Press Release Summary:

Single component, flexible, UV curable adhesive UV14-3 cures at room temperature in seconds to 1 min. It is not oxygen inhibited and does not require inert atmosphere. It requires no mixing, and develops high bond strengths with metals, ceramics, glass, paper, plastics, and elastomers. UV14-3 has operating temperature range of -60 to +250°F. Product exhibits storage stability of 6 months in original unopened containers.

Original Press Release:

New Flexible UV Curable Adhesive Easily Removable

Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, N.J. has introduced a new single component flexible UV curable adhesive called UV14-3. This system cures extremely rapidly at room temperature when exposed to UV light (e.g. seconds to 1min., depending on the intensity of the UV light). Also, this compound is suitable for curing in thick as well as thin sections. It is not oxygen inhibited and therefore does not require an inert atmosphere.

Master Bond UV14-3 has a low viscosity and is easy to apply. It requires no mixing. High bond strengths are obtained with metals, ceramics, glass, paper and many plastics and elastomers. These bonds however can easily be dissolved by conventional solvents such as acetone and other ketone solvents allowing UV14-3 to function as an excellent temporary adhesive. UV14-3 has a service operating temperature range of -60°F to +250°F.

UV14-3 is a 100% solid system and no solvents or other volatiles are released during the curing process. The storage stability is 6 months in original unopened containers, 3 months in a syringe. Master Bond UV14-3 is available in 1/2 pints, pints, quarts, gallons, 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums as well as syringes.
