AAMA Certified Adhesive Foam Tape For Window Assembly



Windsor, Connecticut - October 27, 2004.... Scapa has introduced Duofoam S3632W, a double coated white polyethylene foam tape specifically designed for window manufacturing applications. The product is A.A.M.A. Certified 810.1-92 for window glazing.

Double coated with a solvent based acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive and supplied on a silicone coated kraft release liner, this product offers high load bearing ability, uniform unwind and easy die cutting. Duofoam S3632W will perform well over a wide temperature range and offers excellent long-term aging and environmental durability. The product is highly conformable to irregular surfaces and maintains its seal on high movement joints. This tape offers good thermal insulation properties.

In addition to A.A.M.A. certification, Duofoam S3632W has been awarded UL-recognition QOQW2 as polymeric adhesive systems for electrical equipment and components, reference #MH29515. It is approved for bonding, wire mounting, gasketing, spacing, and sound attenuation in electrical assembly applications.
