Double Coated Adhesive Film for Automotive Assembly
Windsor, Connecticut - April 30, 2004. Scapa Automotive offers Dublfilm® S812A, a thin polyester film coated on both sides with a high tack, high peel acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The film is designed for automotive assembly, bonding to EPDM rubbers, and for fabricating foam parts used in NVH applications.
Dublfilm S812A adheres well to low surface energy plastics including untreated polyolefins. The adhesive offers excellent resistance to environmental extremes and the polyester film carrier provides strength and dimensional stability. This adhesive film product bonds exceptionally well to ether and ester foams.
