Windsor, Connecticut- May 14, 2003.... Scapa Automotive has introduced a high performance acrylic adhesive transfer film, Unifilm® U650A, designed to provide excellent adhesion and long-
term aging on a variety of foams, plastics, metals, and fabrics used in automotive assembly.
The high tack acrylic adhesive used on Unifilm U650A can be easily laminated to a variety of substrates, including foam materials for gasketing and NVH applications. This transfer film provides moderate temperature resistance and good humidity and water soak resistance. Offering good peel and cohesive strength, U658A is ideal for applying nameplates and decorative parts, bonding interior trim and instrument panel components, and assembling leather covered seats and steering wheels.
