Double Coated Adhesive Film for Foam Fabrication and Industrial Assembly
Windsor, Connecticut - March 9, 2005.... Scapa has introduced Dublfilm S995, a strong and versatile double coated pressure-sensitive adhesive film that offers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. The product is ideal for foam fabrication, industrial assembly, splicing of printing and coating webs, EPDM rubber bonding, and general bonding and assembly.
Dublfilm S995 is a polyester film, double coated on the liner side with an acrylic adhesive, and on the exposed side with an aggressive, high tack, high peel rubber-based adhesive. Offering excellent resistance to environmental extremes, the product displays superior adhesion to ether and ester foams and bonds well to low surface energy plastics. Its high adhesive coat weight facilitates bonding to irregular surfaces, while the polyester film adds dimensional stability and strength. Designed to be an assembly aid, Dublfilm S995 will also bond abrasive disks and attach decorative materials such as trim, cork and felt.
