Double Coated Adhesive Film for Automotive Assembly on Irregular Surfaces
Windsor, Connecticut - October 29, 2002...Scapa Automotive offers Dublfilm® S837TA, a double-coated, hand tearable, tissue product with an extremely aggressive acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that is ideal for bonding foams to irregular surfaces. This 4-mil acrylic adhesive film, which offers high tack and peel, is formulated for automotive assembly and attachment, bonding to EPDM rubbers, and for NVH applications.
The tissue carrier used on Dublfilm S837TA provides strength and dimensional stability, yet is highly conformable. The product bonds well to low surface energy plastics and offers excellent adhesion to ether and ester foams. S837TA is formulated to provide excellent resistance to environmental extremes.
