Windsor, Connecticut - January 23, 2003. Scapa has introduced Dublfilm® S500, a double-coated, pressure-sensitive adhesive film designed for a range of general-purpose mounting and bonding applications.
Dublfilm S500 exhibits good chemical resistance and high temperature performance. This firm acrylic adhesive film offers excellent holding power on a wide variety of substrates including metals and engineered plastics, offers a good balance of tack and peel, and can be easily die cut without gumming up the dies.
Formulated to minimize end user downtime and to increase manufacturing efficiency and productivity, Dubifilm S500 is pattern coated onto the polyester film carrier. This creates a dry edge that allows for easy handling and facilitates removal of the product's 60# paper release liner.
