Double Coated Adhesive Film for Direct Skin Application



Windsor, Connecticut - March 29, 2004. Scapa Medical offers Bioflex® Rx268S, a double coated medical grade polyethylene adhesive film formulated for direct skin application. Offering excellent conformability for curved areas of the body, low density Rx268S is ideal for attaching medical devices to
the skin and for surgical drape fabrication.

Bioflex Rx268S consists of a medical grade polyethylene film, double-coated with a medical grade acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The film is supplied on an 80# white densified kraft release liner that allows easy die cutting. The acrylic adhesive used on Rx268S provides excellent adhesion to skin, yet removes easily without causing skin trauma. The acrylic adhesive carries a Drug Master File Number.
