Double Coated Adhesive Film for General Purpose Mounting and Bonding



Windsor, Connecticut - November 28, 2003. Scapa has introduced Dublfilm® S820, a pressure-sensitive adhesive film coated on both sides with different acrylic adhesives. This double coated film is designed specifically for bonding polyethylene foams to metals, but will also perform well in a range of general-purpose mounting and bonding applications.

The acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive on the exposed side of Dublfilm S820 exhibits good high temperature resistance and shear properties. On the liner side, the acrylic adhesive offers high shear properties and is formulated to adhere well to polyethylene foam. The film is supplied on a 60# release liner.
