Henkel Loctite Introduces Shot Miser® Manual or Semi-Automatic Adhesive Dispense System



Rocky Hill, Conn. - April 30, 2003. Henkel Loctite Corporation has introduced the low priced Loctite® Shot Miser® Dispense System, a complete, controlled system designed for manual and semi-automatic dispensing of all single component, 0 to 80,000 cPs viscosity adhesives.

The Shot Miser system includes a controller, a reservoir, and a dispense valve. Both the valve and the reservoir are inexpensive and disposable, resulting in low maintenance costs and minimal downtime. The Shot Miser valve can repeatably dispense light to heavy adhesive dots and beads, and features a pinch-tube disposable fluid path. The Shot Miser one-liter reservoir can accommodate 250 ml, 500 gram, and one pound packages, and has an operating range of the is 0 to 100 psi.

The Shot Miser valve controller is an electro-pneumatic timer that operates the dispense valve and is triggered by a foot switch. The controller features a light that indicates when dispensing is in progress, an analog time adjustment feature, and timed or manual modes of operation. The controller accommodates any Loctite® dispense valve.
