UV Shadow Cure Adhesive Continues to Cure After Exposure to UV Light



BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Permabond LL499 is a UV light/moisture dual cure adhesive designed for bonding, sealing, and potting metal and plastic components. LL499 cures when exposed to UV light, and will continue to cure by exposure to ambient or surface moisture. This secondary curing capability allows the product to fully cure in areas not directly exposed to the UV light source. Other substrates including glass, steel, polycarbonate, ABS, and aluminum can be bonded with LL499.

This Permabond adhesive is a translucent light blue color, has a viscosity of 3,100 cP, and a shelf life of 3 months when stored at 25°C (77°F). LL499 is available in two sizes: 30cc syringe and a 6oz cartridge, and can be dispensed using a 16 - 20 gauge dispensing tip.
