Nylok Introduces PRECOTE 19-2® Adhesive for Smaller Sizes
Nylok Corporation has introduced PRECOTE 19-2® chemical adhesive coating to provide medium strength fastening and the most reliable thread coverage for fasteners in sizes #10 (M5) and smaller. The pre-applied PRECOTE 19-2 coating is a non-reactive, film-forming, resin solution for coating threaded parts. It is a physiologically harmless pre-coating for immediate locking and fixing of cylindrical and conical threads. The dried coating is tack-free and dry to the touch.
Nylok's patented method of applying PRECOTE 19-2 assures a consistent coating and a long shelf life since the agent will not prematurely harden due to chemical reactions of moisture and/or solvent penetration.
