New Ceramacoat 512N High Temp Adhesive & Coating Now Available

Ceramacoat(TM) 512N, a new high temperature adhesive and ceramic coating system developed by Aremco Products, Inc., is now available for use in industrial and commercial applications to 2400 °F (1316 °C).
Ceramacoat(TM) 512N is a new, single part, water-based, silica filled adhesive and coating system used for both the assembly of ceramic, metal and plastic electrical components and the coating of high temperature structures that require corrosion protection. This advanced system replaces conventional organics which are limited to a maximum operating temperature of 500 °F; instead, 512N can be used in applications as high as 2400 °F (1316 °C).
Ceramacoat(TM) 512N provides exceptional electrical properties including a volume resistivity of 109 ohm- cm and dielectric strength of 250 volts per mil at room temperature. It also provides good moisture, oxidation and chemical resistance.
Ceramacoat(TM) 512N is applied easily by brushing or troweling and cleans up prior to curing with warm water. Ceramacoat(TM) 512N will cure at room temperature overnight or can be cured in an accelerated manner by heating for 2-4 hours at 200 °F and 350 °F, respectively.
Ceramacoat(TM) 512N is odorless and contains no volatile organic compounds that may affect the environment. No outgassing will occur upon curing or during operation.
