Adept Technology to Showcase Solar Cell Handling System at PV Expo 2009 in Tokyo


First Japanese Showing of Adept Quattro Robot Features Solar Cell Handling with Integrated Inline Inspection

PLEASANTON, Calif.- February 25, 2009, Adept Technology, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, today announced its solar cell handling system will be showcased at the 2nd International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo in Tokyo, Japan on Altech Co. Ltd's booth #PV3-46. The application workcell is a high-speed solar cell handling system with integrated inline inspection and features the Adept Quattro(TM) s650 a four arm parallel robot. This will be the first time the Adept Quattro and the solar cell handling system has been featured in a Japanese show.

The 2nd International Photovoltaic Power Generation Exp is an international exhibition focused on the PV industry. The show anticipates 27,000 plus attendees visiting an expected 450 exhibiting companies, including the top solar manufacturers in both Asia and Europe.
