Part Feeding Technology Featured in Booth Enables Manufacturers to Address Flexible Production Requirements While Simultaneously Reducing Integration & Deployment Times
Pleasanton, Calif. - September 21, 2009 - Adept Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADEP), a leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, today announced it will be demonstrating flexible part feeding with its new Adept AnyFeeder BX400 flexible part feeder at the MOTEK trade show in Stuttgart, Germany September 21-24, 2009. The company will also be showcasing its advanced packaging management software solution, ACE PackXpert and the Adept Quattro s650H robot with vision in booth 7208 in hall 7. The company's demonstrations will highlight technology enabling manufacturers to ramp up production with solutions that are cost effective to implement, deploy, and support.

Adept AnyFeeder BX400
The Adept AnyFeeder BX400 is a newly developed flexible part feeding unit with a large 250l bulk feeder with integrated level inspection. The 400 mm width conveyor and elevating conveyor belt are driven by two brushless servo and AC-drives. The new Adept AnyFeeder BX400 is designed to work with a full complement of Adept robots. In combination with an Adept Quattro s650H, 120 parts per minutes are achievable. The new Adept AnyFeederBX400 is an excellent solution when randomly ordered parts must be handled quickly, which is common in cosmetics, medical disposables and injection molding applications.
