AddisonMckee to Release Best-in-Class Maestro(TM) Bender Control System at FABTECH

Booth #8182
October 6-8, 2008
Las Vegas Convention Center

World-leading tube bending and end-forming technology specialists, AddisonMckee, plan to display one of their high-performance DataBend(TM) small diameter draw bending machines and formally launch the market's most user-friendly tube bending control solution at this year's FABTECH International & AWS Welding Show 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In choosing to display the DataBend(TM) model, a DB24ESR (all-electric, stack, multi-radius) 25mm (1") high-performance draw bending machine, designed for the production of smaller components, AddisonMckee intends to provide tube manipulators globally with a deeper insight into its capabilities.

"We are rightly known as the leaders in vehicle exhaust component manufacturing technologies internationally," comments Vice President of Global Marketing, Christian Rogiers, "The fact is, we produce a whole range of market-leading solutions, of which the all-electric DB24ESR - primarily a model for air-conditioning components and brake lines - is just one. Accordingly, FABTECH 2008 will provide the perfect platform to demonstrate our wider product range."

Most flexible control solution ever
Perhaps the highlight of the FABTECH show, however, will be the official unveiling of AddisonMckee's aptly named Maestro(TM) controller - the most flexible bending machine control solution, designed specifically to meet the various needs of today's global marketplace.

Highly user-friendly
Developed around extensive feedback from AddisonMckee's global customer base, Maestro(TM) offers the ultimate in user-friendly design, thanks primarily to its intuitive user interface. Maestro(TM) also offers superior diagnostic control for real-time troubleshooting.

Highest-possible production yields
Comments AddisonMckee Executive Vice President of Sales, Jim Sabine, "With the launch of Maestro(TM), all new AddisonMckee CNC tube bending machines will be available with our new Mark VI globally standardized back-end control system, designed to provide maximum bender utilization and up-time.

"From a front-end perspective, however, Maestro(TM) enables us to offer our customers the flexibility to choose a control interface to suit operator preferences."

AddisonMckee global support
Of course, Maestro(TM) is backed by AddisonMckee's global support capabilities, including the ready-availability of non-proprietary, spare parts.

Delegates visiting Booth #8182 at FABTECH will be among the very first to gain the opportunity to take Maestro(TM) for as test drive.
