Steck EngineOut (P/N 501XX)

The new Steck EngineOut (P/N 501XX) simplifies engine removal from front engine/rear wheel drive vans. No more removing engine components while the engine is still in the van just to get lifting clearance under the cowl. The Engine Out saves hours and hours of installation/removal time. Component transfer is also easier and faster once the engine is out of the van. The EngineOut kit comes in a choice of Chevy, Chrysler, or one of three Ford Engine Plates, with the other Engine Plates available separately. The EngineOut can also be used on some newer pickup trucks where the engine sits back far enough that it must be moved forward for removal. The EngineOut Adapter Plate bolts to the front of the engine where the water pump has been removed. The EngineOut Hoist Arm installs in your engine hoist and the EngineOut Angle Adjuster controls engine tilt. With the engine held by the front instead of the top, you can easily lift and tilt the engine as necessary for removal and installation. See your Steck distributor, visit Steck Mfg.
