Han® D-Sub module
The introduction of this module facilitates the integration of the well-known 9-way D-Sub connector into the HARTING Han-Modular® system. This is useful particularly when sensitive bus signals are to be connected in an industrial environment. The shielding is connected independently from the housing thus ensuring very high screen attenuation.
This adapter module accommodates most standard 9-way D-Sub connectors with solder, crimp or insulation displacement terminations. It is also suitable for 15-way high density D-Sub products.
When used in a single module housing a protection rating of IP 65 is achieved providing a real benefit over standard D-Sub products when connections are made in a mechanically and electrically hazardous industrial environment.
