It also lets R50 notebooks use Ultrabay Enhanced form factor CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Combo, or Multi-Burner drive in Ultrabay 2000 bay of Dock II. Overview
The ThinkPad® Enhanced Drive Adapter for Ultrabay(TM) 2000 allows customers to use ThinkPad R50 Series Ultrabay Enhanced form factor optical drives in an Ultrabay 2000-sized device bay.
The R50 notebook users have the option to use the Ultrabay Enhanced form factor CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Combo, or Multi-Burner drive in the Ultrabay 2000 bay of the Dock II with this adapter.
Also, the ThinkPad CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Ultrabay Enhanced Drive option can be adapted for use in the Ultrabay 2000 of The ThinkPad T Series, X3 Ultrabase, and ThinkPad R40 Series notebooks using the ThinkPad Enhanced Drive Adapter for Ultrabay 2000.
