Creative Manager Pro, Ad Agency Software and Project Management Groupware for Creative and Design Firms, Released Today Version 7.5 Adding New Scheduling Features, New Reporting Features, Tighter Integration with Mac OS X 10.3.7, and More


Lakewood NJ-based Creative Manager, Inc., provider of Creative Manager Pro and Creative Project Manager, announced the release of version 7.5, adding features to more easily manage schedules using multiple task assignments. Among the new financial reports that were added are Cash Basis Income Statements, and Statement of Cash Flow.

Current clients are being offered free training in order to take advantage of the new features.

No installation or conversion will be necessary, and the update is free to all users of Creative Manager Pro and Creative Project Manager.

Using the new features, many assignments for one task can now be assigned to people within your organization, and they will appear on their calendars, and dashboards. These are baby tasks and part of the larger task that users estimate and schedule with. As each assignment finishes their part of the task, the next person assigned receives a message that their assignment is now ready to be worked on.

Building on their long string of successful monthly releases and in response to increasing demand for these new features, Creative Manager Pro continues to invest heavily to add the new features which work with Apple's OS X Unix-based Operating System and Microsoft Windows.

When asked about the new upgrade, Ause said "We continue to make advances on TWO fronts - Apple's Mac OS X and Windows. Now that we've got the synchronization complete with iSync, iCal and AddressBook, we've gone beta with the sync to Outlook on Windows."

Additional enhancements to the system were made in the following areas:

- New reports: Cash Basis Income Statements and Statement of Cash Flows

- Modified the Add Project Screen to include all options and all fields, making it easier and faster to start a new project

- Added a Percentage of Budget option to the project over budget notification

- Expanded the missing time sheets option to catch timesheets that were never started

- Expanded Menus to allow for faster access to functions (Example: Projects menu, Projects, now provides options for New and Search)

- Added a Calendar View of the project schedule

- Added additional formatting options to the Invoice Templates to match Estimate Templates

- Enhanced our WIP Posting to better reconcile WIP Postings

- Beta Release of the Outlook Synchronization Tool (Sync Contacts and Appointments both ways)
