Davis-Standard Introduces Newly Designed Accumulator Head for Blow Molding



(Somerville, NJ)-In Davis-Standard's continuing quest to enhance customer profitability, we are pleased to announce the introduction of our newly designed spiral diverter for our Sterling Blow Molding accumulator head. The new design offers optimal parison wall distribution by balancing the delivery of material around the head. Streamlined flow channels and elimination of stagnation points greatly enhance head purgability, resulting in faster color changes and a reduction of material consumption during product changeover. The overlapping spiral geometry minimizes temperature and flow variations while eliminating knit lines within the finished product.

This product is offered for all new Sterling accumulator heads and can be retrofitted on a wide selection of existing Sterling installations.
