Deacom Enhances Document Management System for Manufacturers



WAYNE, PA - May 1, 2008 - Deacom, Inc. announces today the addition of the DEACOM document linker to the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software System. An extension of the DEACOM electronic document management system, the document linker allows manufacturers to link an unlimited number of transactional documents to their corresponding transactions for easy access in a single ERP system.

The DEACOM ERP Software System offers a built-in electronic document management system that allows manufacturers to store any electronic files throughout the main ERP system. The document linker builds on that capacity by using barcodes to link documents like delivery tickets and packing lists to their respective transactions.

With the Document Linker, DEACOM users can scan and import mass quantities of barcoded documents into the ERP system. These documents are automatically linked to their corresponding transactions, such as sales orders or purchase orders, based on the barcoded information.
