ArrowSpan Adds Another High-Power Multiple Frequency Product to Its Wi-Fi Mesh Solutions



Santa Clara, Calif., March 28, 2007 - ArrowSpan Inc., a global provider of Wi-Fi mesh solutions, today announced the availability of the MeshAP 2180, designed for outdoor network deployments. The high power 200mW (23dBm) outdoor access point provides greater coverage to outdoor solutions and covers hot zones over hundreds of square miles. This industrial strength Wi-Fi mesh solution can boost the signal strength to 400m (1,300 ft) in open space and provide multi-frequency support. Users will have the ability to choose between 5.8GHz, 5.3GHz, or 2.4GHz, depending on their requirements. A 4.9GHz spectrum version of the MeshAP will also be available in the upcoming months when the MeshAP 2182 is released.
