CANTON, MA. February 20, 2007 - International Electronics, Inc. (IEI) (OTCBB:
IEIB), a leading manufacturer of electronic access control solutions, today introduced
the Max 3 access control system, the newest offering in the Secured Series product
line.

The Max 3 system, along with the latest version of the Hub Manager Professional
Software, offer improvements such as three-times faster communication and new
tools such as System Dashboard, which allows users to lock and unlock system doors
and view door status and event logs.

The Max 3 system communicates over a standard RS485 network as well as across a
LAN or WAN using IEI's Secure Ethernet Gateway (SEG-M). The Max 3 system also
can be ordered in convenient single door kits, which include software, power supplies
for both system and lock hardware, and a proximity reader compatible with HID,
AWID, Casi ProxLIte, and xCeed id credential.
