The Jewell LCA Series accelerometer is a general purpose ± 0.5G to ± 5G pivot and jewel device designed for industrial, commercial, and aerospace sensing requirements. Suspension technology and band widths of 60 Hz and 250 Hz make the LCA popular for a variety of applications, such as aircraft flight controls, fatigue monitoring, and performance testing. Jewell's application engineers are ready to draw on a wide range of options to design modified versions of the LCA, making this general purpose accelerometer very appealing for use in a wide range of applications.

Jewell accelerometers are fully self-contained units that connect to a DC power source and a read-out or control device for a complete operating system. The LCA-100 offers full range output (FRO) of ± 0.5% volts and nonlinearity of 0.05% FRO max. Units operate at a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and a survival temperature range of -60°C to +90°C, and they can withstand shock to 100 g, 11 msec, ½ sinc.
