Wilcoxon Releases New Low Cost Dual Output Accelerometer

Gaithersburg, MD, April 2004 - Wilcoxon Research, a leading supplier of quality vibration sensors and related equipment, announces the release of a new low cost dual output accelerometer.

The 786T combines the versatility of Wilcoxon's most popular accelerometer with the temperature measurement capability useful for bearing monitoring. Because the 786T is based on the field-proven rugged design of the 786A, users can be certain that their measurements will be accurate in even the most demanding environments. Combining the 786T with the R6GQ booted connector allows the accelerometer to be used when exposed to dampness and harsh chemicals.

According to Steve Wichtendahl, Vice President of Sales and Marketing: "The 786T extends the life of bearings by measuring both vibration and temperature simultaneously. This, in turn, enables the plant manager to schedule preventive maintenance and planned downtime, saving time and money in costly and unexpected repairs."

For over 40 years, Wilcoxon Research has been committed to providing innovative vibration instrumentation, backed by outstanding customer service and a generous warranty. Wilcoxon's Total Lower Cost (TLC) of Ownership means that you won't waste time and money replacing failed sensors or waiting for items with long lead times.
