AC Power Switch accepts dual power inputs.

Press Release Summary:

Series T2235 19 in., 1U rack-mount unit combines redundant power switching, under-voltage sensing, and out-of-phase source switching. Intelligent circuitry monitors both inputs and will transfer power to secondary power source if primary power is lost. Both 15 and 20 A, 120 V versions are available with NEMA receptacles. IEC version operates at 100-240 V. Status LEDs on front panel indicate power available and which source is being output.

Pulizzi Engineering Releases The T2235 Series Redundant AC Power Switch with 'Out of Phase' Switches Capability

Santa Ana, CA- Pulizzi Engineering, Inc. announces the release of the new T2235 Series dual AC input power switch. This compact unit combines redundant power switching, under-voltage sensing and "out of phase" source switching. This unique design solves the industry problem of how to switch AC power sources that are not phase synchronized. The fast switch will transfer from primary to secondary source fast enough to keep your critical equipment powered. The T2235 accepts two AC power inputs (primary power and secondary power). The intelligent circuitry in the T2235 monitors both inputs and in the event that primary power is lost or experiences a brown out, the unit will transfer power to the secondary power source. This will add power input redundancy to any equipment. This is especially useful for situations where N+1 power supply redundancy is not available. The T2235 can be used with dual UPS feeds, one UPS/one utility,
dual utility, or one generator/one utility. These and other power configurations will provide the highest level of redundancy to the connected equipment. The T2235 should be used any time that 99.99% uptime is required.

The T2235 is a IU (1.75") high, 7" deep and 19" rack mount device. The unit is available in zinc-plated gold or black. The black version allows for adjustable mounting. The unit can be mounted flush front, recessed, center, or rear. Both black and gold versions have mounting capability for a cable restraint/management system. The T2235 is available in several configurations. Both 15 amp and 20 amp - 120 volt versions are available with NEMA style receptacles. There is also an International (IEC) version available that operates at 100-240 volts. This version has 20 amp input via two power inlets (C20 style). The transfer voltage range can be selected via a front panel mounted switch. This allows for a nominal operating voltage of 120 volt, 208 volt, 230 volt or 240 volts. All versions have status LED's on the front panel to indicate power available and which source is being output. Both power inputs and the output receptacles are located on the rear of the unit. The North American versions have (8) NEMA receptacles and the International (EC) version has (8) C13/ (1) C19 receptacles. The circuit breaker is optional. (Removing the circuit breaker prevents a single source of failure.) The cable length and plug type have various selection options. EMI/RFI filtering is the final selection option.

This unit is approved to UL/cUL 60950 3rd Edition (EN60950) Listed safety requirements. The IEC (International) version has the GS mark and is CE marked. It meets both the emissions and low voltage directives. List prices start at $527.00 with OEM quantity discounts available.
