New Brake Pack for AC Motors
Torrance, CA - Oriental Motor USA Corp. introduces the new SB50 Brake Pack, providing four key control functions for AC induction, reversible, watertight and electromagnetic brake motors in a single package. Instantaneous stop, forward/reverse motion, electromagnetic brake control and thermal protector open detection with alarm signal are now integrated into a single compact package of 2.77" high by 1.97" wide by 2.76" deep.
The SB50 Brake Pack works with all Oriental Motor V Series, World K Series, and FPW watertight Series AC induction and reversible motors with output power requirements that range from 1 watt to 90 watts. The SB50 can also be used with electromagnetic brake models of the V and World K Series. The SB50 covers a single-phase voltage range from 100 VAC to 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
The SB50 is the world's first brake pack to conform to major US and Canadian safety standards. It carries the CE mark for compliance to the Low Voltage Directive and the EMC Directive.
