New V Series - Powerful, Quiet AC Gearmotors
Torrance, CA - Oriental Motor USA Corp. introduces the new V Series of super quiet AC gearmotors. The V Series provides AC motors with strengthened shafts that mate to a series of long life (10,000 hours) GV gearheads. These gearmotors operate at incredibly low noise thresholds of 29 dB, a reduction of approximately 6 dB when compared to other Oriental Motor AC motors.
Oriental Motor adopted a series of comprehensive noise-reduction techniques to achieve this unproved performance, including:
o A special tooth process technology that removes machining marks of 1 to 2 microns from the surface of motor pinions.
o An optimized quiet running design that reduces eccentricities and out-of-balance conditions.
o New assembly techniques that ensure high accuracy assembly down to the micron level.
The V Series gearheads achieve up to a three-fold increase in maximum permissible torque levels. The V Series AC motor provides output power levels of 6W, 15W, 25W, 40W and 60W, depending on motor frame size, and includes induction, reversible and electromagnetic brake motors. These motors can be supplied as single-phase 110/115 VAC, single-phase 220/230VAC, and three-phase 200/220/230VAC inputs. Terminal box and lead wire models are available.
