New GT 3000 Low Voltage AC Drive from ASIRobicon Meets Customer Process Demands

New Kensington, PA - The new GT 3000 Low Voltage AC drive from ASIRobicon, an innovative leader in industrial power controls, is designed for maximum flexibility to meet a wide variety of demanding process requirements for AC motors 3HP to 800HP. Along with built-in software macros for customizing the drive to the end user's process parameters, the system's Process Tolerant Protection Strategy (ProToPS(tm)) offers improved performance that extends the life of the motor. ProToPS(tm) allows the end user to maximize process availability and uptime by customizing the control features.

The new GT 3000 Drive allows end users to select specific macros for such applications as fans and pumps, tension control with load cell, user PID for process control, master-slave, and unique applications like steel mills and paper mills. Even the most demanding process requirements are easily handled with such features as auto tuning; flying start for powering into a spinning motor; sensorless vector control for providing the right torque at the right time; trip-free operation; and auto restart.

The GT 3000 offers a wide voltage range, 380-480V, 575V and 690V. It complies with UL, cUL, CE and ISO 9001 and IEEE regulations. A Windows-based PC toolkit software program is standard, with HMI modules as options. The drive is also available in Clean Power versions, which operate at near-unity power factor and prevent harmonic distortions. Clean Power GT 3000 drives meet the requirements of IEEE 519 1992 at the drive input terminals.
