150W Compact, PFC-input Power Supply features High MTBF
The PFW 150-24 industrial grade ac/dc power supply delivers reliable power conversion in critical applications where unit replacement is problematic or expensive. The feedback system on the primary side employs a sensing circuit design in place of optical components, resulting in an MTBF of 170,000 hours at 45degC, minimum. Robust mechanical construction and additional conformal coating ensure immunity to high levels of shock, vibration and moisture, further contributing to the reliability of the unit.
The 150W power supply uses active power factor correction (PFC) to convert a universal ac-input voltage (95V to 264Vac) to 24Vdc. Typical line/load regulation is better than ±2% from 5% to full load. The isolated, floating output can be grounded to either terminal, allowing for use in either positive or negative grounded systems, or they may be left floating. Custom input/output configurations are available.
The PFW 150-24 is filtered to meet EN55022 Class B conducted and radiated requirements, ensuring minimum interference with sensitive electronic equipment. The power supply complies with EN61000-3-2 harmonic content specifications. It also meets EN/IEC60950-1 and related industrial safety standards. The design incorporates 4300Vdc input/output isolation, overload, over-voltage and short circuit protection with thermal shutdown and auto-resetting.
