Designed to meet the space and performance needs in instrumentation, control and telecommunication systems, ASTRODYNE announces the OFM Series product line of ultraminiature open frame modular switching power supplies that provide output power over the range of 5 to 22 Watts. All models accept universal input from 85-265VAC and 47 to 440Hz. 18 models are available that provide single outputs of 5 to 24VDC. The OFM Series are pin out and size compatible to more costly encapsulated modules. This new product features an integral power-good LED indicator and output adjustment potentiometer and will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0 to 45 deg C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over voltage and short circuit protection circuitry and internal input filtering. The OFM Series is fully approved to EN60950 / UL1950 safety specifications. This Series is also available in medically-approved (OFM/M) versions. Dimensions are as small as 2.28"L X 1.8"W X 0.83"H (5 Watt version) and all models are designed for PCB plug-in mounting.
