MENTOR, Ohio -- Qualtek, a leading manufacturer of fan and fan accessories, introduces its series of High Performance Low Cost, HPLC series, AC axial fans tested to withstand tough environmental conditions, including salt fog, salt spray, temperature changes and humidity.
The following series of AC fans are Salt Fog Rated and Tested to the following Standards:Â GR-487-CORE ASTM B117-11, ISO 9227. Qualtek Salt Fog Rated Series are also certified to meet or exceed the IP56M ingress protection specification.

The FDA2 series HPLC AC fans feature a thermal protected external rotor capacitor-run induction motor, two ball bearing system, aluminum alloy frame, one piece forged steel impeller, and optional UL94V-0 plastic impeller for increased airflow.
The motor and frame design, and construction are made to withstand years of hard use, vibration, and protection from dust and powerful water jets. The robust construction allowed the series of fans to meet or exceed the accelerated salt spray and salt fog testing that can last up to 30 days.
