Series TRD-M35A Modular Absolute Multi-Turn 33-bit Encoder
TRD-M35A is a modular type absolute multi-turn encoder that is used in applications such as intelligent AC servo motors, industrial robotics injection machines, and wafer transfer robots in semiconductor production.
It features 1.5" outside diameter modular kit design and ultra light weight of 1.0 oz. The resolutions provided are 17 bits/turn (0 to 131,071 addresses) for single turn and 16 bit turns (65,526 turns) for multi-turn. Response turn speed offers 6,000 rpm under normal operating conditions and 10,000 rpm during backup operation. Super wide air gap of 0.02" (0.5 mm) is the widest in its class. Unit has operating and storage temperatures of 0-85°C.
Encoder has serial communication interface and user can configure up to 8 axes through Bus connection with LSI signal receiver chip. Writing and reading data is stored on standard-mounted EEPROM memory chip.
Encoder also provides flexible backup power supply system offering a priority system that will use the highest voltage available: main power supply (5V), external battery power, or internal backup power supply.
Options are available for gap spacer, transmitting interface (one by one connection or Bus connection) and inspection kits.
