Type 1 Abrasive Wheels Designed for High Speed Die Grinders
A new line of cotton fiber T1 abrasive wheels that feature fiberglass reinforcement to permit high speed operation in die grinders is being introduced by Rex-Cut Products, Inc. of Fall River, Massachusetts.
Rex-Cut® High Speed Type 1 Abrasive Wheels are made from non-woven cotton fabric with aluminum oxide abrasives (silicon carbide optional) that are laminated, pressed, and bonded together with fiberglass reinforcement. Designed for high speed die grinders, they are offered with a soft bond for light deburring and finishing and a hard bond for deburring with long life.
Featuring 4 grit sizes: coarse, medium, fine, and very fine, Rex-Cut® High Speed Type 1 Abrasive Wheels are available in 2", 2-½", and 3" dia. sizes by 1/16", 1/8", and 1/4" thickness, and a 1/4" or 3/8" bore. They are rated for 28,000-, 24,000-, and 20,000 RPM, respectively.
