Design & Manufacturing on the LCV 3000

From hand railings and custom furniture to car chassis and airplane frames, structural tube preparation is an essential part of fabrication. Tube coping is essential to promoting strong welds; this process requires one piece of tube to be cut and fit to another piece of tubing in preparation for welding.

Linders Specialty Company is the original designer and manufacturer of the abrasive belt coping machine concept, which is used to cope tube and pipe for a seamless fit. This innovative machine is capable of coping square, rectangular, and irregularly shaped tubing to fit perfectly every time. It features an adjustable vise which allows for precise angles from 30 to 90 degrees, and can be equipped with spindle sizes ranging from ¾" to 5".

The LCV 3000 coper is a short framed version of our popular LCV 2000 model. The LCV 3000 is a more compact machine and designed to take up less shop space and easily fit into a mobile welding truck. At only 300 lbs., the LCV 3000 features a footprint of 48" in length, 30" in width, and 14" in height. Both systems are engineered with robust design features and manufactured completely in-house from steel and aluminum, which deliver strength and long service life.
